How to create a Yahoo Mail app password

1. Open Yahoo Account SecuritySign in at login.yahoo.com/account/security.
2. Generate an app passwordChoose Generate app password (or Generate and manage app passwords).
3. Name itType a name such as ECOMHUTSY Webmail and tap Generate.
4. Copy the codeUse it as the password when you add your Yahoo address in the app.

Still cannot sign in?

• Copy the app password again: one wrong character is enough to fail.
• Delete old app passwords you no longer use and create a fresh one.
• If Yahoo shows a security alert by email, confirm it was you, then try again.
